From ‘Extraction’ to ‘The Incredibles 2’, the top 7 Netflix movies this week.

In the time of this worldwide lockdown, one of the best ways to pass time is by binge-watching content on Netflix. But watching old content is not always a wise idea. Netflix keeps updating its platform with the latest content.

1) Extraction (2020): 

Netflix’s description reads as: “A hardened mercenary’s mission becomes a soul-searching race to survive when he’s sent into Bangladesh to rescue a drug lord’s kidnapped son.” 

It holds a Rotten Tomatoes score of 67% and is written by the avengers’ director Joe Russo. It was a highly anticipated Chris Hemsworth movie and it impressed with its top of the line action. It’s a great treat for the action lover fans. 

2)The Willoughbys(2020): 

Netflix’s description reads as “Four siblings with horribly selfish parents hatch a plan to get rid of them for good and form a perfectly imperfect family of their own.” 

It holds a Rotten Tomatoes score of 89% fresh and the audience seemed to like the movie alike. Overall the movie features an engaging plot and makes a good watch. 

3) Despicable Me(2010),:

Netflix’s description reads as “Villainous Gru hatches a plan to steal the moon from the sky. But he has a tough time staying on task after three orphans land in his care.” 

It holds a Rotten Tomatoes score of 81% and is one of the most popular animated movies among kids. The minions of the film indeed are very cute. 

4)Django Unchained (2012): 

Netflix’s description reads as “Accompanied by a German bounty hunter, a freed slave named Django travels across America to free his wife from a sadistic plantation owner.” 

It holds a Rotten Tomatoes score of 87%. Only the director’s name is enough to make you excited for the movie, it’s none other than Quentin Tarantino. The name speaks for itself. One of his most violent and gruesome movies, this one makes a great watch. 

5)Angel Has Fallen (2019): 

Netflix’s description says “Secret Service agent Mike Banning is caught in the crossfire when he’s framed for a deadly attack on the president and forced to run for his life.” 

It holds a pretty poor rotten tomatoes score of 39%. Although, the past is evident that critics always don’t have to agree with the general viewers. It might not make an impression on you, but it’s a great time pass for sure. 

6) Battle: Los Angeles (2011): 

Netflix’s description reads as “Led by their skillful staff sergeant, a platoon of gutsy Marines fights to protect all humankind from astonishingly powerful aliens.” 

It also holds a poor rotten tomatoes score of 36%. Though the plot might disappoint you, the Action sequences of the movie are engaging. You might love the movie as well if you are a fan of the genre. 

7) Incredibles 2(2018): 

The Netflix description reads as “When Elastigirl gets recruited for a high-profile crime-fighting mission, Mr. Incredible takes on his toughest assignment ever: full-time parenting.” 

It holds a Rotten Tomatoes score of 94%. It was the sequel to The highly successful original Incredibles movie. And it repeated the success. The movie is a great way to spend some time with your kids and you will enjoy it for sure too.
