White Lines is the new series by Álex Pina, creator of acclaimed fiction La Casa de Papel, and which will be available on Netflix on May 15.
The title stars Laura Haddock and you can now take a first look at some of her scenes.
With the island of Ibiza as the main stage, this new development is full of drugs, paradisiacal beaches, and parties, many parties. But also of bodies and covert deaths. This is how extreme Pina’s new project is for the streaming platform.
The plot revolves around Zoe, sister of a famous Manchester DJ who disappeared 20 years ago in Ibiza, and who is willing to find out how and why. During his stay on the Balearic island, he will meet the old friends of the disappeared.
They are all possible suspects. A journey to a past of excesses, drugs, vices, and madness that will put Zoe’s life on the brink of the abyss. White Lines is made up of ten 60-minute episodes and among its cast, we find both Spanish and international faces.
The main cast is completed by Guillermo Lasheras, Pedro Casablanca, and Javier Garrido García, among others. Producers Andy Harries and Sharon Huff, of the company in charge of the series The Crown, have also been part of the development of this title.
Premiere on Netflix on May 15! When Zoe unknowingly takes matters to the police, she creates trouble for the group and herself.
“When you find out the truth, it just leaves you cold,” he jokes, as glimpses of massive pool parties, drug blasts, car chases, and a very angry government leader (Botto).
But even in the midst of all this chaos, the White Lines protagonist refuses to be deterred. “I won’t leave until I get what I came for,” says Haddock. “The truth.”
